Return of the King Extended Edition -- (December 17)... Fellowship's extended version added 30 minutes to the movie and took us behind the scenes for the most in-depth "making of" footage ever featured. The second Extended Edition of the legendary trilogy added 40 minutes. Word on the street is that King's extended version will clock in at a whopping 4 hours and 10 minutes! Suffice it to say, this set will be a valued addition to my collection. (Note: Image is of the non-extended widescreen edition.)
Highlander: The Series, Season 6 -- (November 9)... The sixth and final season of the immortal adventures of Duncan Macleod. As I still haven't finished the fourth or fifth seasons, I can't tell you what to expect... but I'm betting it'll be good!
Star Trek: Voyager, Season 7 -- (December 21)... Stranded in the Delta Quadrant, Captain Kathryn Janeway and the crew of the Starshipe Voyager have battled countless foes and allied themselves with the most unlikely of races. In the seventh and final season of the show, expect more surprises -- like a visit from Q and his son! While I missed this in its initial run, due to our UPN affiliate returning to independent status, I've caught enough episodes in syndicated re-run to know that I'm really going to enjoy the epic finale!
